Description: Lea performed electrical installation for the Wastewater Pretreatment Facility at the Chobani Yogurt Plant. The facility intercepts and treats plant effluent prior to discharging into the City of Twin Falls Sanitary Sewer system. The facility includes a 6,410 sq ft single level pre-engineered steel building with mezzanine for Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) processes, various tanks and equipment for Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket (UASB) process. Specialty items include: process pumps, tanks, compressors, reactor, biomedia filter, flare, and odor control system. Heating process includes a 12M btu calorix direct-fire burner system 1,900 sq ft heating building with heat exchangers, effluent sampler, and clean-in-place equipment. Site is adjacent to the Chobani Yogurt Plant.
