Lea Electric is a proud union contractor. We work closely with IBEW Local 291 in Boise & IBEW Local 449 in Eastern Idaho to source the majority of our electricians. However, if you're new to the electrical trade, start your apprenticeship right at the SW Idaho JATC. The electrical trade is an excellent & rewarding career choice. Union electricians are in high demand. They make great wages, and IBEW members have outstanding medical and retirement benefits. You’ll be paid on a rising scale while you learn the trade during your apprenticeship.
